Valentine's Day Giveaway!

Because today is a day of love, and I love to cook recipes from this book, I SO excited to be giving this away...

Have you heard of Pam Anderson?  No... not that Pam Anderson, but the one who has some serious skills in the kitchen and an amazing blog that she shares with her daughters!  She doesn't know me from Adam, but I am trying to covet all of her cookbooks.  I have three so far, including this one, which is her newest.

Oh, and don't worry... the book I am giving away is not my used, kitchen gunk stained one, but a brand-spanking-new one!

Winner will be chosen at random (by one of my children picking a number... very scientific) on Wednesday evening.  All you have to do to enter is sign up to follow this blog (if you haven't already), and share the name of your favorite cookbook in the comments section.  Good luck!

  3. My most used is my Joy of Cooking--not sure how I survived this far into adulthood without it.

But my favorite recipe (banana cupcakes with the world's dreamiest and easiest chocolate buttercream) comes from The Whimsical Bakehouse.

  4. I'm not much of a cook, but I love the Taste of Home cookbooks because I can find things in them that are good everyday weeknight recipes.

  7. Oh fun!! Okay so I really actually like the old school BD Cookbooks. I even blogged about it once: http://clearepic.com/2010/08/her-memory-lane/

Or also the old Church cookbooks from back in the day - they seem to have the best cookie recipes! And my Grandma's and Mom's favorite recipes are marked in there.

Allrecipes.com is a fave as well as the "Fix It and Forget It" series because of my love affair with the Crock Pot! :)

  8. "More Than Beans and Cornbread" by Barbara Beury McCallum. It is a Traditional WV cookbook.

WV is known for its Pinto Beans, Cornbread, Fried Potatoes, Greens, and Blackberry Cobbler. However, there are a ton more recipes just like this and a lot of interesting facts about WV packed in this 190 page cookbook.

I love it and it is my go to when I have company come from out of town!!

I hope that you look into in Shaynee, as much as you like southern cooking!!

  10. I know the giveaway is over but I LOVE The Bride and Groom Cookbook. We got it as a wedding gift three years ago and it is one of my favorites! The Chicken Noodle Soup recipe is one of a kind!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I definetly think like it sounds like you have your hands full without adding cloth diapering to that! Whew!
